2. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
2.1. Packaging and transport
2.1.1. A direct packaging of Buttermilk Powder are:
- multi-layer paper bags together with polyethylene insert (PE) and big-bags
- tank: clean, dry, approved for carrying food products
In paper bags, the polyethylene insert is welded, and the paper bag is glued together.
The paper bags are placed on the pallets.
Direct packaging of Buttermilk Powder are allowed for packaging food products in accordance with Regulation (WE) 1935/2004 (as amended).
2.1.2. Transport
Carried out only by means of transport which protect products from damage, wetness and other harmful influence of environment. The transportation is authorized to transport foodstuffs and has valid sanitary documents.
2.2. Labeling

3. Genetically modified organisms (GMO)
The provisions of Regulation (EC) 1829/2003 and Regulation (EC) 1830/2003 of European Parliament and Council on labeling, authorization and the traceability of food and feed products produced from genetically modified organisms, are kept and does not require any special labelling.
4. Ionizing radiation
Provision of Directive 1999/2 and Directive 1999/3 concerning foodstuffs and food ingredients treated with ionizing radiation and ingredients of foodstuffs treated with ionizing radiation they are met and product does not require any special labeling.
5. Storage
a) Buttermilk powder should be stored in dry, clean, odorless warehouse at temperature from +1°C to +25°C and relative humidity <65% no longer than 12 months from the
packaging date into paper bags and big-bags.
b) Buttermilk powder in 400g bags should be stored in a dry, cool place in a tightly closed package no longer than 12 months from the packaging date.
